On Friday night, AKB48 received a prestigious award at the 53rd Japan Records Award for their song, "Flying Get". "Flying Get" has sold 1,587,229 copies edging out their other single, "Everyday, Katyusha" which sold 1,586,840. Therefore, making it as Japan's top selling CD of the year.
It had been a whirlwind year for the girls as, they've been receiving many recognitions and are rising in the industry.
