Furukawa Airi (SKE48) teams up with pachinko machine maker Kyoraku Sangyo for "Galaxy Express 999 Pachinko Surprise". Kyoraku is holding a "Miss Maetel Contest 2011". The contest is held online, allowing voters to pick their favorite Maetel look-alike.
Voting will go on until September 10th, the winner will be published in Shueisha s Weekly Playboy magazine. The site also features videos of all the girls saying lines just like Maetel would, as well as Furukawa dancing.Galaxy Express 999 creator Leiji Matsumoto will also draw Maetel with one lucky voter.
