Rock band Galileo Galilei’s upcoming single “Asu e” will become the opening theme for the new Gundam series, ‘Mobile Suit Gundam AGE‘, starting October 9th.
“Mobile Suit Gundam AGE” is the 14th installment in the Gundam series and will be the first series in two and half years. Yamaguchi Susumu directed the series, Hino Akihiro wrote the storyline, and gaming company Level-5 cooperated in production.
The theme song, “Asu e”, won’t be like Galileo Galilei’s usual relaxed, alternative rock tunes. Instead, this song will be an upbeat electro-dance track with lyrics about the appearance of the world.
The single is set to be released on December 7th, however the song will be available on Chaku-Uta starting November 2nd.
