Kana Nishino Performs at Her Old High School

On September 17th, singer Kana Nishino made a triumphant return to Mie High School in Matsusaka where she was born and raised.

The singer headed over to her old high school on Saturday where she put on a surprise concert as part of Mie High School's 50th anniversary.

Before students gathered in the gymnasium, the school principal announced:

Today, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Mie High School, we bring you a long-sought after live event. On this commemoration day, our last-minute artist is one of our very own graduates who is now active around the nation. Ms. Kana Nishino.

The crowd of student broke out into a roar as Kana Nishino appeared singing "Come On Yes Yes Oh Yeah!!".

Afterwards she sang other hit songs like "Best Friend", "Aitakute Aitakute", and "Kimitte". The students were wildly enthusiastic just like the huge crowd at her Budokan live.

In the middle of the event, Nishino said, “I want us to become one in our enthusiasm”, to which the crowd become her own personal chorus as she performed. “Although your club activities and studying may not go well sometimes, you have to persist in what you believe in until the end”, she shouted before finishing off with "Alright".
