Bandai Acquires Gosick and Nichijou Anime

Bandai Entertainment announced at its Otakon panel and through Twitter that it has licensed the anime series Nichijou (My Ordinary Life) and Gosick.

Along side the new anime announcements, Bandai also announced that they have licensed the manga series Nichijou and Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya (Code Geass: Renya of the Darkness).

Nichijou follows a group of female students and the oddities and absurdities that happen, though they still live fairly normal lives. Currently Crunchyroll has been streaming the series.

Meanwhile Gosick adapts the mystery novel series by Kazuki Sakuraba. In it, Kazuya Kujo studies abroad at the school, Saint Marguerite Academy, located in a European country in 1924. Kazuya then meets a young girl, Victorique, a brilliant and beautiful girl who never goes to class and spends her days solving mysteries that experienced detectives can't solve. Together the two solve any case that comes to them. Currently the series is streaming on Crunchyroll.

Finally, Code Geass: Shikkoku no Renya, is scripted by Goro Taniguchi (director of Code Geass). In the series, Renya, a 17-year-old boy encounters a young witch named Reifu C.C. who seeks a new partner for a contract.
